The MasterSingers

Since its inception in 1969, the MasterSingers have strived to nourish the health of choral arts in the region. With a tradition of presenting a wide range of musical styles, the “New” MasterSingers have recently dedicated themselves to the art of jazz and pop ensemble singing, often performed a cappella. This change enables the group to hone in on the sounds of current groups such as Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices the Real Group and other outstanding groups of the genre, thus filling a musical void in the Omaha area. Accessible. 2013-14 concert season schedule consists of: Jazz to the World, Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 4 p.m. On Broadway, Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 4 p.m. All that Jazz, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 6 p.m. These Mastersingers concerts will be held at First Central Congregational Church, 421 South 36th St. and Harney, Omaha.
