From great golf to the best college baseball in the country, Omaha and sports go hand in glove. Every June, the cream of the crop in college baseball takes the road to Omaha for the NCAA Men's College World Series. In early August, top golfers from across the nation visit Omaha for the Cox Classic, is a key stop on the PGA's Nationwide Tour. If you'd rather play a round yourself, you'll find 17 beautiful golf courses spread throughout the city, each with its own unique layout and degree of difficulty.

Omaha is home to the second largest rodeo in the world, Aksarben's River City Rodeo is part of a four-day western festival that will get your ‘yee-haw' in high gear. If you like your horses a little more controlled, Horsemen's Park is considered one of the finest simulcast facilities around, it's a fun place to watch and wager on horseracing from top tracks across the country.

Omaha's sporting landscape also includes professional hockey in the winter and arena football in the spring and summer.
