Outstanding Guest Services - Hotel: Includes front desk, transportation, reservations, bell/porter, concierge, telephone operator & gift shop staff
Best Front of the House: Includes servers, bartenders, cashiers & hosts
Best Heart of the House: Includes chefs, line cooks, salad prep, dishwashers, bussers & other kitchen staff
Outstanding Service in Attraction Operations: Includes custodial, grounds keeping, maintenance & other operations staff
Outstanding Guest Services - Attraction: Includes admission, gift shop, docent, administrative support & other guest services staff
Outstanding Customer Service – Retail: Includes retail sales staff and store managers from locally owned and national chain locations.
Outstanding Volunteer: Includes volunteers serving in a variety of capacities
Eligibility requirements: Nominees must be employed at a hotel, restaurant, caterer, attraction or retail shop in Douglas, Pottawattamie or Sarpy Counties for at least one year prior to the awards ceremony (May 9, 2018).
Judging: One finalist will be chosen from each of the three counties, with a winner selected by a committee of hospitality peers from the three finalists in each category. The nomination must explain how the nominee is:
