Our mission is to create meaningful, authentic connections between people and rescue cats.

As a nonprofit, we operate an open-concept cat shelter and rescue, alongside providing educational and community outreach programs.

We’re moving and temporarily closed.

Hey there! Felius is on the move to a bigger, better space right in the heart of the Dundee neighborhood! Get ready for something amazing because our grand opening is set for mid-May! We officially bid farewell to our downtown location on 3/27, but fear not – our rescue mission is still going strong! We're bursting with excitement to unveil our new space to the Omaha metro community this summer! Click below for more details about our move and the incredible life-saving programs we've got brewing for later this year!

What they’re saying

  • "Felius was great to work with. Thank you to the Felius staff who were super responsive to emails and to the cafe manager who offered lots of advice and support with the introduction process to my existing 6 year old cat."

    Tomas DeSantiago

  • "I love Felius Cat Cafe! Their membership is a must! They have an amazing staff that cares deeply about their kitties. Seriously their adoption procedure maximizes safe and successful adoptions, they care for so many stray cat colonies, and so much more! "

    Avery Chapman

  • “My daughter and I just left the cafe and I just want to thank you. She struggles with anxiety and depression but has come once before with her grandmother's and loved it, so we made the trip from Hastings, Nebraska, this morning to spend an hour. Our other family members are all allergic to cats. It was the first time I've seen her smile that big in a long time. Just....thank you. Your service isn't just for the felines.”

  • "Felius is a great local non-profit helping cats in the Omaha area. Their mission of TNR, fostering, and adoptions is an awesome way to help kitties find loving homes, and help control the feral cat population. Their cafe environment offers delicious drinks to sip while playing with kittens and chatting with fellow patrons."

    Jen Fitzgibbons

  • "Amazing experience hands down. The whole establishment is so clean and the workers/volunteers are so friendly. The cats themselves are adorable!! The prices are fair and are going toward the rescue cost for the cats so it’s well worth it. If you have some time one afternoon I would recommend coming to pay a visit!"

    Sam Beste

  • "Wonderful cat cafe and rescue! They work so hard for rescued cats and run a no-kill rescue as well. The cat room is fun, cute, and a good stress reliever. And all the cats are adoptable! Can’t say enough good things about this place."

    Anna De Basura

  • "Felius is such a cute cat cafe, even with 30 minutes, you have plenty of time to love some kittens! The drink choices are great and the staff are all super friendly. As for the Rescue side, Felius is doing such a great job!!! I appreciate the fact that they serve our local needs for a rescue, but also support shelters from other states who need help adopting out their cats. I think that’s how all shelter should operate! Wonderful work."
