So it’s 2016, and Martha and Dave have decided to open a coffeehouse in Aksarben. The location is stellar. The employees are eager. The store looks beautiful. And then BAM! Before you know it, it’s November 6, 2016 and we are open for business! It took a little while for us to get the hang of things, we’ll be honest, but we like to think that’s what makes our story so great. ROAST is a true example of a small local business run by a tight-knit group of driven individuals who all enjoy getting a little over-caffeinated now and then.

Serving up delicious drinks, and serving warm pastries, ROAST is quickly becoming recognized as one of the best coffeehouses in Omaha. But what makes us so good? We’ll let you in on a little secret. Besides our coffee, we believe that what sets us apart is our employees. We are not in the business of being pretentious about coffee, or making customers feel guilty for ordering a drink that’s decaf or has a little extra vanilla.
