Stirnella

Stirnella bar & kitchen is a gastro pub located in the Blackstone District that serves up pub food inspired by local and seasonal ingredients. Their dedication to serving locally inspired dishes with Omaha flavor is also represented in the restaurant’s name. “Stirnella” stems from the Nebraska state bird, the Meadowlark genus and species Sturnella neglecta. The name represents the desire to create and continue to evolve, while staying true to Nebraska roots.

The proof is on every plate. Start with the chef-inspired soup du jour and enjoy some farm fresh deviled eggs. Then move on to some of the house specials such as the steak and frite; or the spätzle with oxtail, creamy mushrooms and fresh comte. Continue the culinary journey with the fan favorite, Blackstone Burger, a big juicy 1/2 lb wagyu patty topped with comte, onion confit and a secret sauce (you know something’s good when a secret is involved). The menu offers something to please every palate, but it’s important to save room for dessert.

Gooey. Butter. Bars.

A must-try after dinner treat. The Gooey Butter Bars inspire locals to start every meal with dessert. The banana curd, Nutella ice cream and shortbread crumble come together to make something truly magical. Are you ready for the 10 tastiest days? Click below to learn more about Stirnella.
