The Tenant
The Tenant is a buzzy new restaurant and rooftop bar in Benson. The Asian-inspired smokehouse will delight your table with a variety of tasty shareables on their regular menu like pork belly bao buns, smoked egg rolls, five-spiced chicken wings, prawns with sweet chili and scallion pancakes. A pair of zingy salads liven up the palate – choose from crispy cabbage with a cashew-ginger vinaigrette or a pomegranate and arugula salad with cucumber, mint, sesame and orange vinaigrette. Savory meats – like pork belly, brisket, or oak smoked salmon – can be ordered with tasty sides like coconut rice and bok choy or be made as a lettuce wrap with herbs and daikon pickles. There is sparkling wine by the glass or bottle, cocktails, including a “frozé” made from rose, vodka, and fresh strawberry and watermelon juices, beer and seltzer. Stretch out on the patio and watch a Benson night come to life – The Tenant has one of the best rooftop patios in town.
