Getting To and Around Omaha

Getting to Omaha is easy with both Interstates 80 and 29 providing direct access into the city. Omaha’s airport, Eppley Airfield, has more than 200 arrivals and departures daily and is located a quick drive from Omaha’s downtown area.

Getting around Omaha is a breeze. Rental cars, taxis, limos and shuttle bus service are available at the airport. The majority of Omaha hotels offer complimentary direct transportation to and from the airport, as well as shuttle service within a specific mile radius. Omaha Metro is the city’s mass transit bus system offering service throughout the area.

Whether you rent a car or bring your own, cruising around Omaha’s city streets is easy. The city is divided north and south by Dodge Street. Numbered streets start at the Missouri River and increase as you drive west.
