Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Collaborates closely with the Convention Services team to manage the intricacies of conference planning for organizations in the region, with an emphasis on small meetings and group tours. Assists in marketing Omaha across multiple print, electronic, and social media methods. Serves as the primary administrative conduit for all internal and external communication tools used by the Group Sales and Convention Sales divisions. Additional responsibilities involve public relations activities. An incumbent in this position exercises considerable independence in the performance of duties and responsibilities and receives general guidance from a supervisor.

Intern (Seasonal)

This position involves assisting a city department with a wide range of projects, and is designed to be both educational and practical. The Intern will learn how to take skills they have acquired in school related to a particular area of interest and apply them in a professional setting. As a Visit Omaha Event Staff Worker, incumbents may be working in the Visitor Center or at partner events, welcoming visitors to the city and providing information on what to see and do while visiting Omaha. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with people and have excellent customer service.
