The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is a public academic health sciences center in Omaha focused on education, research and patient care. UNMC trains health care professionals and conducts medical and health sciences research.

Academic programs include medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, public health and allied health professions. UNMC is also part of a larger medical campus in midtown Omaha that includes Nebraska Medicine.
