Ambassadors welcome visitors to the city and provide helpful, inspirational information that encourages exploration and enjoyment of the city. You’ll have the opportunity to meet visitors from all over the world and offer personalized recommendations for all the great things to do in Omaha.

What is the commitment to be a volunteer ambassador?
The Visitors Center offers flexible three-hour shifts Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm; and Sunday 11 am – 2 pm. Volunteers are scheduled for a three-hour shift twice a month, or more often if desired.
How are ambassadors trained?
Ambassadors complete training by shadowing an experienced ambassador for three shifts, gaining hands-on experience before officially joining the team.
