Music is everywhere in Omaha this summer. From free neighborhood concerts to multi-day festivals, here's what's on the calendar.
City of Omaha Celebrates America
The popular free summer concert at Memorial Park is every June, this year on June 26 with headliner Smokey Robinson with special guest Cake. The musical evening culminates with a fireworks show at 10pm.

Jazz on the Green
Free jazz concerts run Thursday evenings throughout the summer. Bring blankets, chairs, leashed pets, bug spray and food and drink. Refreshments are also available from nearby businesses.

Playing with Fire
This free music series runs Friday and Saturday nights at Midtown Crossing with city views and outdoor seating.
Tempo of Twilight
Evening concerts at Lauritzen Gardens, Omaha's botanical gardens. Guests may bring chairs, blankets and their own food and drink.

Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival
This multi-day, two-city festival (Omaha and Lincoln), runs from July 24–Aug. 2 in Omaha and features artists from around the world. Omaha events include the Omaha Showcase on July 25 at Gene Leahy Mall, performances at Gallery 1516, BLUEBARN Theatre and St. Cecilia Cathedral, a family-friendly Art-Tastic Saturday at Joslyn Art Museum on Aug. 1, and the "Luminous Wings" orchestra finale at Strauss Performing Arts Center on Aug. 2.
In The Market for Blues Festival
Omaha's annual blues festival is held across the Old Market and Capitol District for 14 hours of live music from July 31-Aug. 2. The event doubles as a pub crawl through downtown. This year's headliners are the Texas Headhunters, a Texas blues-rock band, and Omaha's own Héctor Anchondo, winner of the 2020 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Maha Festival
Omaha's marquee outdoor music festival returns Aug. 8 to Heartland of America Park at The RiverFront. Headliners include UK indie rock act Wet Leg, Omaha's own Bright Eyes and Grammy-winning rapper Killer Mike. Also on the bill: alternative artist Blondshell, indie-folk act Whitney, and Omaha-based David Nance & Mowed Sound and Carver Jones.
