Film Streams' cinemas are temporarily closed in consideration of public health concerns and community-wide efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. We look forward to announcing a reopening date in the near future. Omaha's nonprofit arthouse cinema, featuring new American independents, foreign films, and documentaries, as well as a repertory program of classic, themed series, and director retrospectives. The historic theater opened in 1925 and was renovated in 2017. In addition to the main 300-seat theater, a 25-seat space was added to screen more experimental and classic films. Adjoining eatery Lola's Omaha serves coffee shop fare and transforms into a wine bar at night.
