Joslyn Castle

This Scottish Baronial four story, 35-room mansion was built in 1903 as the private home of George and Sarah Joslyn. It was designed by prominent architect John McDonald and also features a conservatory designed by Jens Jensen. The Castle is situated on 5.5 acres of park-like grounds. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and is the first historic landmark site of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. The Castle is open for public tours the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month at 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00pm and every Monday at 10:30am and 12:30pm. Weekday tours are available by appointment by calling 402.595.2199.

  • Price: $10 adults; $8 seniors/students; Children under 5 are free.
