About

Omaha’s pioneer cemetery (1858). Here lie many who built Omaha and gave their names to Omaha streets and businesses, and Nebraska towns and counties. Also found here are veterans of wars back to the War of 1812, including a section of soldiers who served at Fort Omaha during the Westward Expansion. A variety of walking tour pamphlets are available. Please call before your visit if you need assistance in locating a grave or want to get a pamphlet.
