Omaha’s Food Halls

Food hall dining is more than just enjoying a meal, it’s an experience. In Omaha, choose from a wide array of culinary options in four distinctive food halls, where locally owned businesses serve diverse cuisine and craft libations for enjoying in a lively communal dining space.

The Switch Beer & Food Hall in The Blackstone District is the nation’s first food hall to be designated a 3-Star Certified Green Restaurant™ by the Green Restaurant Association. This environmentally-forward food hall features six kitchens/eateries with special events and pop- ups to keep the fun going all night long. In the heart of Omaha, Inner Rail Food Hall in Aksarben Village boasts 10 curated vendors offering a global array of cuisines. Just outside is an outdoor plaza and certified entertainment district where patrons can enjoy their drinks while playing outdoor games and cozying up next to the fire pits. Next, Flagship Commons in Westroads Mall is Nebraska’s first food hall concept with nine stalls. The modernized food court is complete with a cozy fireplace at the center, a favorite feature after an afternoon spent shopping. On a smaller scale, Dining Room inside the Highlander Accelerator is home to three African-American owned businesses serving up soul food, burgers and drinks. Among them is Big Mama’s Kitchen, a television culinary staple famous for their fried chicken and sweet potato pie ice cream.
