All aboard for classic American comfort food, craft cocktails and a friendly, knowledgeable staff at Railcar Modern American Kitchen. Small plates start the night off right. Choose from bread service, asiago crusted steak bites, baked goat cheese, fig and prosciutto flatbread and more. Two tasty soups and four salads are on offer on their regular menu – and can also be served with entrees, which feature delights like steak and frites, pot roast rigatoni and barbecued salmon. Rotating specials feature dishes like trout with grilled peach salsa. A well-curated wine and beer list and signature cocktails will whet your whistle. Many of Chef Jared’s specialties made it on to their Omaha Restaurant Week menu, including Brussels sprouts, Asian crispy short rib and a flourless chocolate torte.
