Things to Do in the Blackstone District

Omaha’s Blackstone District has a rich history – and an even richer sandwich. This is the birthplace of the Reuben, the iconic sandwich first created in 1925 at the former Blackstone Hotel (now the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel, which serves three versions of it).
