Metro Group Inspires Birders to Flock to the Region

Bird Watchers now have a new way to search for great birding hotspots in eastern Nebraska, www.nebraskametrobirding.com. The new web site targets one of the fastest growing recreational activities in the country. The site was created by the Nebraska Metro Group, a regional partnership between Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Lancaster, Sarpy, Saunders and Washington counties in Nebraska. Omaha Wins Top Honors

Omaha grabs the spotlight in front of thousands of national convention planners. Team Omaha received the "Best of Show-Best Booth Staff” award at the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Annual Meeting and Expo in San Diego, CA. The competition included 550 exhibitors representing almost every major U.S. city, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, cruise lines and every major hotel corporation.
