Countdown Begins for Two Millionth Visitor at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium® Omaha, NE (November 17, 2016) – The countdown has begun to reach Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s two millionth visitor milestone. The current count as of November 13 is 1,968,401, with less than 33,000 visitors needed to reach two million. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium® Sets New Record When it Comes to City and State Economy Omaha, NE (October 25, 2016) – Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium’s 2015 Economic Impact Study results reveal the economic impact to the City of Omaha to be $226.22 million. This includes $95.22 million in labor paid to an estimated 2,347 workers employed at either Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium or businesses throughout the Omaha economy.
