Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCVB) Sales Manager, Mark Rath, is now Omaha's first Certified Sports Event Executive. Rath received this important designation at this weeks National Association of Sports Commission’s convention in Omaha.
Having four important letters, CSSE, after Rath name indicates to prospective clients high standards and experience in the sports event industry.
Rath has been with the OCVB for ten years and has been an instrumental part of bringing events such as the U.S. Olympic Team Trails - Swimming, the National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships and the National Veterans Wheelchair Games to Omaha.
"We are all very proud of Mark’s accomplishments. His hard work helps give Omaha an edge when going after a variety of sporting events.” said Dana Markel, Executive Director of the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau.
