George and Connie Liao have become a fan favorite thanks to a warm and welcoming demeanor outside the kitchen and outstanding skills inside. George, an American Culinary Federation-Certified Executive Chef, has more than two decades of restaurant experience. The Liaos left their two Las Vegas gourmet restaurants to bring their unique flavor to the Midwest. The couple made Omaha their home and Wave Bistro opened its doors in March 2007.
