Pets Welcome in Omaha

Travel and pets go hand-in-hand for millions of travelers, and Omaha makes visiting with your trusty companion easy. Here’s inspiration on making your trip with your pet smoother (and more memorable).

When it comes to hotels, AAA Four-Diamond Hotel Deco greets furry friends at the front desk with a sign and water bowl. Other hotels where pets receive exceptional service include Magnolia Hotel Omaha, Residence Inn by Marriott Omaha Downtown (including a special offer), Element Omaha Midtown Crossing and EVEN Hotel. For an experience Fido will remember, think spas, parks and bars. The Green Spot is a one-stop shop for your dog, offering services like “pup pedicures” and teeth brushing, a doggie bakery, and dog washes (hey, it’s vacation, right?). Dewey Dog Park is open year-round and features an agility course, running water and a splash pad, a self-cleaning synthetic turf, chairs, benches and canopies. The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, or Bob, welcomes humans and pets alike. Friendly reminder: pick up after your four-legged friend. For socializing fun for both dogs and their humans will enjoy, Omaha Dog Bar and Barks and Brews offer play space with food and drink options.

Humans need to eat, and dogs are welcome at restaurant, brewery and bar patios all over the city, including at Nite Owl and Finicky Frank’s. At Benson Brewery’s biergarten your pooch has access to a water station for dogs and batches of dog treats made in-house. Click here to see dog-friendly events happening in Omaha.
